Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration in Holmdel
Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration brings the music of the Grateful Dead co-founder into a symphonic concert setting. Garcia was a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter whose work helped shape American improvisational rock. His catalog includes enduring songs such as “Terrapin Station,” “Friend of the Devil,” and “Ripple,” alongside music from his solo career. The celebration presents this repertoire through orchestral arrangements, connecting Garcia's distinctive melodies with the scale and color of a symphony.
The performance is scheduled for August 29, 2026, at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey. The supplied event information lists one upcoming date at the venue, so no previous Holmdel performances are confirmed here. Set in a region with a long-running live-music audience, the outdoor concert offers a summer setting for revisiting Garcia's musical legacy. Venue and Seating Information
PNC Bank Arts Center is an outdoor amphitheater with a reported capacity of 17,500. Opened in 1968 as the Garden State Arts Center, it combines a covered pavilion with a broad general-admission lawn. The pavilion is a practical choice for guests seeking reserved seats and some protection from changing summer weather.
Front and mid-pavilion seats are strong options for closer, more consistent stage views; mid-pavilion can offer a useful balance between sightline and price. On the lawn, fans looking for a clearer view may prefer a central spot at a moderate distance from the stage. Far-side pavilion seats can have angled views, while the lawn's back corners are farther from the performance. Arrive early for lawn seating and consider bringing a blanket or low-back chair.
Parking Information
The venue is at Exit 116 of the Garden State Parkway and is primarily reached by car. Parking choices described for the area include:
- On-site surface lots, with general and premium options; reported estimates range from $20 to $60 per event.
- Third-party nearby parking, including limited listings in Holmdel; reported estimates range from $15 to $25 per event.
- Rideshare drop-off near the main entrance, though return rides may be limited after the concert.
On-site parking is the most direct option, and advance purchase may be available. Expect congestion near Exit 116 after the show; allowing extra departure time or waiting briefly before leaving may help. Parking prices and availability can change, so confirm current details before traveling.
Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration Red Bank reviews
No one Like Him! Period! ✨
El Sol is going to change that, and once again is already making history. He gives it all on stage. No one can sing like him. We don’t know what Boleros we’re until he introduced us to them. Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration is the only artist who made an entire generation sing and love songs 30 years before their age. Thank you to all bringing him back! These days music really is not great. I cannot be more excited to finally be able to see him again in 2026! He could not even promote one single song, and we will still be front line to see him!
